Job: DBA000111/112 Meat Trimmers


Job Information:

Growing Meat Processing Facility celebrating over 86 years of success is seeking two Meat Trimmers to join our team 

Job duties include:

Trimming meat to specified standards; identifying & rejecting meat that is out of specs and informing management of this; verifying piece count; sizing product to specs before trimming; weighing all meat trimmings and fat and record and attach to the lot; and following proper policies and procedures pertaining to providing wholesome products.


Job requirements include:

HS diploma or equivalent;

knowledge/understanding of yields;

able to focus on task in busy work environment;

prior Trimming exp. in related industry plus;

excellent knowledge of product line or a minimum of one year experience in the food service industry a plus;

possess the ability to work on a production line; 

ability to work in teams or individually with all levels of Associates;

good communication skills;

ability to stand for 7+ hours;

able to transport heavy loads up to 75 lbs; and

must be able to work in cooler and freezer conditions as well in wet areas.
